How to use this site

Everything here works from any phone or computer. If something isn't working, hand the phone to a grandkid — that's what they're for.

1How do I share a memory?

Tap the gold “Share a memory” button at the top of any page.
Type your name, pick which part of his life your memory belongs to (Father, Coach, Teacher…), and write what you remember. A few sentences is plenty.
Tap “Share this memory.” The family reads each one before it appears on the wall — usually within a day.

2How do I add photos from my phone?

On the “Share a memory” form, tap “Add photos.”
Your phone will open your camera roll — tap the photos you want (you can pick several), then tap Done.
You'll see little previews appear on the form. That's it — they're attached.

3How do I record my voice?

Go to the Voices page and find “Leave your voice — right here.”
Type your name, tap “Record now,” and allow the microphone if your phone asks.
Just talk — a story, a hello, anything. Tap “Stop” when you're done, listen back if you like, then “Send your voice.”

4I don't know what to write.

You don't need anything polished. One true sentence is worth more than a page.
The memory form has example questions — tap one, like “What did Ed teach you?”, and just answer it.
Or skip writing entirely: add one of his one-liners to “The things he always said,” or simply light a candle with your name. It all counts.

5Will what I share appear right away?

Memories, photos, and voice recordings are read by the family first, so they appear a little later.
Candles and sayings appear immediately.
Everything shared by July 28 becomes part of the memorial service on August 1 — the tribute slideshow and the printed memory book.
